Your farm isn't just for growing crops! You can cultivate mushrooms and make honey there as well, but they need some special setup first in order to get the process going. Once you repair the rotted mushroom log and rotted beehive, you'll be able to cultivate to your heart's content! If you're looking to enhance your cultivation cred even further, more mushroom logs and beehives can be purchased from Nigel's Handiworks.
Fungus Among Us
All it takes to grow mushrooms is to set some spores on your mushroom log, then voilà! Unlike most other crops, you won't need to water them once you've set everything up. In a few days, they'll mature into fully grown mushrooms all on their own.
Turning Hives into Honey
If you’ve got a craving for some honey, you’ll first need to set a flower by a beehive. Once enough time has passed, you can harvest the honey-filled hive, though you’ll need a honey maker in order to extract it from the hives. The kind of flower you put by your beehive will determine the kind of honey you'll get out of it as well.
