Connecting with Monsters
Press and hold the ZL Button to prepare your spell seal for a charge catch, which lets you connect with a monster and make them your temporary ally. These monster allies will fight alongside you for a day.
Invite a mix of up to three people and/or monsters to join you on your adventures.
Taming Monsters
Want to forge a more permanent connection? Build a monster barn, then give a monster their favorite items and brush them to befriend them. Monsters who live in your barns can join your party whenever you want, as well as give you rides and work in your fields.
Monster Barn Locations
Monsters you’ve befriended live in barns on your farm dragons’ backs. Speak with the monsters living inside to assign them farm chores.
Monster Farmhands
Once you’ve grown close to your monster friends, you can ask them to help around the farm. High friendship levels let you assign them a greater variety of tasks. Monsters can sow seeds, harvest crops, and collect debris cluttering your fields.
Keep your monsters happy with daily gifts and brushings. Adding fodder to your fodder bin will boost friendship levels and give your monsters the energy they need to work. Always keep plenty of fodder on hand, otherwise they’ll stop producing items like eggs and milk.
